San Diego Trip with the Farnsworth Clan (June)

Our trip to San Diego was 3 1/2 weeks ago and I'm finally blogging about it, sorry. I've discovered that I'm really bad at writing something interesting for each blog post. I used to think I was a good writer because I would get all A's on my English papers. But apparently I'm only good at academic writing where I can be totally logical and boring. So that said, I'll try to summarize our really fun trip in a non-boring way.

Oh yeah, and I'm also really bad at getting the camera out and actually taking pictures. I tend to just bask in the moment and I forget to snap photos of all our fun. So I'm sorry my posts are so sketchy and incomplete in their photo histories. I'll try to do better. I stole some pics from Becca & Melissa to try and give a better view of our vacation (thanks guys).

This was a fairly quick trip for us. We drove all day Thursday, from Orem to Oceanside. Then we spent Friday, Saturday, and Sunday having fun and drove back on Monday. Friday morning we spent on the beach.

On Friday afternoon the boys all went golfing and the girls went shopping at the outlet stores. Once the little girls found the fountain it was only a short while and they were splashing about.

I love the photo below. It's such a mom moment where you have to grab your child (in this case it's Rebecca grabbing Olivia luckily rather than me having to grab Addie) to prevent them from diving headfirst for a nice swim in the fountain.

I wish I would have got a picture of our fun night at the Padres game. Melissa (who lives in San Diego) arranged for a babysitter for all the little girls so we could have an adult night out. AWESOME! The Padres didn't win but we still had a great time.

Becca and Savannah on the pier. Savvy loves to cuddle.

Grammy bought all the grandgirls matching dresses. Cute girls

Addie on the balcony of the condo in Oceanside. Dave's Uncle and Aunt own the condo and were SUPER NICE to let the Farns fam use it for a week.

Going for a Sunday stroll down Oceanside Pier.

So happy to have found your blog! Your trip looked like so much fun! I lived in Oceanside for a short while (granted I was like 3 years old), but hey. Your post made me yearn for another vacation to the beach!
