Summer Fun

I have loved spending more time with the girls now that I'm a stay at home mom. It's definitely not an easy occupation but there are many things that make it worth it. One of the things we have loved doing is going swimming. In early August Becca invited us over and we had a great day swimming and eating lunch at the Jackson's with Becca, Olivia, Grammy, Grandpa, and even David since he randomly took the day off. For the last two Fridays we've gone to playgroup at the pool and Addie can't get enough of it. She's always sad when we have to go home. Even Savannah seems to like it and only cries when it interferes with her time to eat (eating is her #1 priority, which you can tell from the pictures I'm sure). I'll be sad when Summer is over and they close all the pools, it's a great excuse to get out of the house.

Savannah is now officially four months old, yay! It's amazing how much they change from month to month. Just within the last two weeks she has become an avid thumb sucker. She is constantly popping it in and out of her mouth. This week she's also started resting her head on my shoulder when she sucks her thumb. It's such a small thing but it melts my heart every time and I think, "I love you so much, I'm so lucky to have you."

Here are some pics of some of our summer fun.

:) wish we could be out swimming! How fun! I also wish you lived closer to me, learning how to be a mom and being at home all the time can be a bit lonely. Miss you criss!
