Camping with the Clydes

This General Conference weekend Dave and Jessica Clyde invited us to go camping so we jumped at the opportunity. Dave's brother Tom and his Dad were there as were Jessica's sister Heather and her newly married brother Thomas and his wife Chelsea. We've met them all before at various events so we had a great time around the campfire sharing missionary and ghost stories (none of the stories involved both topics, no worries).

It was quite the adventure getting to the campsite on the Nebo Loop because we drove too far and had to backtrack about 30 minutes. That was after the crazy traffic that took us 45 minutes to get from Provo to Payson. We did finally get on track and get back to the Nebo Loop and found the campsite about 9Pm on Friday night. It was a gorgeous place with Aspen trees everywhere, leaves turning all different colors.

Addie was a champ and slept super well all night. Since we got there late in the evening she went to bed shortly after we set up the tent. She's such a good little camper. In the morning she was so excited to see the fire and all the people she could jabber to.

It was only a quick camping trip and we were on the road home by 9AM on Saturday. We're grateful for the warm weather and the great company. Can't top that.
