We had a lot of fun in July, as usual. Because I'm playing catch-up on our blog I'm not going to write a lot. The pictures have a lot of our Phillips family in them but I know we did things with the Farnsworths too so I have to get my hands on those pictures as well. That will have to be a separate post.
Overview of activities:
4th of July: We drove up to Casey and Carrie's house on the 3rd (after Dave got off work) and camped overnight then went to the parade in Lewiston, a town about 10 minutes from their house. It was an awesome parade where every float threw candy and the girls each collected quite the bag of candy. After the parade the rest of the Phillips clan met up with us and we ate lunch, went swimming, and rode horses.
Swimming at our house: July was hot and we spent many afternoons in the backyard in the girls' little pink pool. One afternoon Grandma Rue brought Ava and Ben down for the day and the kids had a good time running wild and getting wet.
24th of July: We spent the afternoon at the Grandma Rue and Papa John's house in Salt Lake City, eating a festive lunch and playing in the pools. Then we went to Grandma and Grandpa Farnsworth's house for a barbecue that evening (don't have those pics yet).
