Another Addie Update

All of our posts are about Addie...oh well, here's another one. She's been making us laugh all week with her new shenanigans and tricks. She can now pick up Cheerios, Rice Krispies, and puffs with her little pincher fingers (thumb and index finger) and stick them in her mouth. Rebecca taught her to say "ba ba ba" on Sunday (January 3rd) and she hasn't stopped doing it since, she loves it. David got her to say "ba bye" and it was really cute but we haven't heard a repeat of that one.

No crawling yet. We're still trying to entice her with toys, food, cell phones, etc. but nothing has seemed to do the trick of actually making her move forward rather than backwards or laterally.


We've been introducing new foods and that's a pretty good show too. She definitely doesn't like applesauce. When she doesn't like a food she just pretends she doesn't see me trying to feed her and goes on playing in the highchair.

Addie's hair is starting to grow in thicker and wilder. The hair on top toward the back tends to stand up no matter what I try to flatten it down. This is her hair after bath time.
